OFFICIAL RULES

1. DATES: All entries must be received by August 31, 2018. One (1) winner will be selected at a random drawing on September 15, 2018 (the “Drawing”) at the offices of the Sponsor.

2. WHO MAY ENTER: Open to all U.S. and Mexico residents (for Mexican residents, please click here to view the applicable Mexican T&Cs), age 18 and over. Public sector employees and employees of Newark Corporation or any of its affiliate companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their family or household members, are not eligible. You may not claim a Prize if, by doing so, you may cause Newark Corporation, dba Newark element 14 (the "Drawing Party" or “Sponsor”) and/or you to be in breach of any agreement (including but not limited to any contract of employment) to which you are a party or in breach of any duty, law, regulation or rule having the force of law to which you or the Drawing Party may be subject. It is your responsibility to get any consents or permissions necessary for you to claim or take a Prize.

3. HOW TO ENTER: On or before August 31, 2018, make a purchase of $50 (not including the 10% off from using the Code or any taxes) on / using the voucher code CRIMPIT (the “Code”) and you will receive 10% off of your order and automatically be entered to win. For purposes of determining eligibility, the owner of any email used to enter the Drawing will be determined by who is the authorized account holder of the email address at the time the email is received by the Drawing Party. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet Service Provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain names associated with email addresses. Alternative method of entry: send a postcard referencing this promotion with your name and a method to contact you to: Attn: Ali Adnan, Newark Corporation, 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 2200, Chicago, IL 60606. The postcard must arrive on or before August 31, 2018. Limit one entry per person.

4. HOW TO WIN: On or before August 31, 2018, make a purchase of $50 (not including the Code discount or taxes) on / using the Code (CRIMPIT) or the alternative method of entry. A Drawing Party employee will select one (1) winner from all eligible entries received by conducting a random drawing. On or about September 15, 2018, the potential winner will be notified by email. The winner must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in these rules. Decisions of the Drawing Party are final in all matters relating to the selection of the winners in this Drawing.

5. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

6. PRIZE: The winner will receive a HARTING Ha-VIS preLink® Network Cabling Systems Crimp Tool (manufacturer part number: 20820009901) (Newark Part Number: 45W1267) with a retail value of $388.21 MSRP. The Prize is non-transferable, with no cash redemption or equivalent. The Drawing Party reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value should a prize or any component of prize become unavailable. All taxes on each prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Prize (or any replacement Prize) is not supplied with the benefit of any warranties from Drawing Party and is only supplied with the benefit of any warranty which may be provided by the provider/HARTING. All further warranties or representations are hereby expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted at law. By participating in this Drawing, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Drawing Party, their advertising and promotions agencies and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents and employees, from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with (1) awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any Prize awarded herein; or (2) participation in the Drawing or any Prize-related activities.

7. CLAIMING PRIZE: The potential winner shall have fifteen (15) natural days after being notified by the Drawing Party to answer the email of the Drawing Party, claim the prize and provide it with the required information including proof of identity and address. Failure to timely or properly claim any Prize will result in forfeiture. Any unclaimed Prize will be awarded in a random drawing to be held by Drawing Party as necessary. If, after the second random drawing to award any Prizes unclaimed in the initial drawing, any Prize remains unclaimed, that Prize will not be awarded. By accepting a Prize, the winner consents to use of their name and/or likeness for all legitimate business purposes including advertising and promotional activities without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
On or about October 15, 2018, the winner will receive the Prize at the provided address in the U.S. or Mexico.

8. MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS: By participating in the Drawing, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Drawing Party, which shall be final with respect to all issues relating to this Drawing. The Drawing Party reserves the exclusive right at any time, without notice, to amend, add to, delete from, alter or otherwise changes these Official Rules. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied with all of the conditions contained in the Official Rules. Drawing Party may prohibit you from participating in the Drawing or winning a Prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines you are attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Drawing by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Drawing Party's representatives. All issues and questions regarding the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Drawing Party, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Illinois and the United States, without giving effect of any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions, which would cause the application of laws of any jurisdiction other than Illinois and the United States. Drawing Party shall not be responsible for any Prizes that are not claimed or received due to causes beyond Drawing Party’s control including, but not limited to: system failure, Acts of God, power outages, natural disasters, war risks, acts of terrorism, acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority, insufficient information provided by a participant, governmental decrees or controls, labor disruptions, civil unrest, and adverse weather conditions. In the unlikely event that more Prizes are claimed than are intended to be given, the intended Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified and validated Prize claims received. In no event will more than the stated number of Prizes be awarded. Drawing Party reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Drawing if it cannot be operated, conducted or completed as planned, at any time and for any reason.
