Featured products
MOTIX™ 3-phase driver and controller

Infineon's MOTIX™ 3-phase motor control gate driver ICs enable the development of high-performance battery-operated products using BLDC or PMSM motors. Designed for maximum flexibility and high performance, Infineon’s MOTIX™ low-voltage motor controller IMD700A/IMD701A and 3-phase gate driver 6EDL7141 have an operating supply voltage between 5.5 V to 60 V. This makes them the ideal solution for brushless DC motor power tools that require fast and efficient charging solutions.
OptiMOS™ 6

OptiMOS™ 6 100 V, Infineon’s latest power MOSFET technology, sets the new industry standard for high switching frequency applications. The improved performance in on-state resistance (RDS(on)) and figure of merits (FOM – RDS(on) x Qg and Qgd) yields an efficiency improvement, allowing easier thermal design and less paralleling, leading to system cost reduction. Robust and reliable performance and a fast turn-on and off are only two key benefits of Infineon’s OptiMOS™ 6 100 V.
OptiMOS™ TOLT / TOLG

Addressing better TCoB robustness (TOLG) and superior thermal performance (TOLT), Infineon’s TOLG and TOLT products are part of OptiMOS™ TOLx package family. While TO-Leaded with gullwing packages offer a compatible footprint to the TO-Leadless package with the additional feature of gullwing leads resulting in 2x higher TCoB performances compared to TO-Leadless, the TO-Leaded top-side cooling package achieves 20% better RthJA and 50% improved RthJC compared to the TOLL package. High power density and increased system efficiency are just some of the benefits of Infineon’s OptiMOS™ TOLT and TOLG packages.
EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH

Infineon’s EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH motor drive evaluation board is optimized for 18 V battery-powered tools operating with sensorless field-oriented or vector control. Using Infineon’s MOTIX™ IMD701A, our latest fully programmable motor controller integrating one XMC1404 microcontroller with a MOTIX™ 6EDL7141 3-phase gate driver IC in one package, the EVAL_IMD700A_FOC_3SH enables the development of next generation battery operated products using BLDC or PMSM motors.
EVAL_6EDL7141_TRAP_1SH

Infineon’s EVAL_6EDL7141_TRAP_1SH BLDC motor drive board features fully configurable operating parameters with on-board debugger ready for direct USB connection to PC. It uses trapezoidal commutation based on the MOTIX™ 6EDL7141 smart three-phase driver. Further key benefits are its high efficiency and low component count. The evaluation board operates independently or via Infineon’s motor control GUI.
